What Does A Naturopthic Birth Doula Do?

As your naturopathic doula, I am honoured to support you through one of life’s most significant and transformative journeys – your pregnancy and the birthing your baby at home. I will draw on my depth of knowledge about traditional and alternative approaches to nurture your ever-changing physical, emotional, and spiritual needs, as well as those of your growing baby.

My care often involves natural therapies such as nutritional therapy, botanical remedies, homeopathic medicines, flower essences, sound meditation, breathwork, Ayurvedic bodywork and biomechanics for birth. These modalities will help to guide you through this life changing rite of passage.

Throughout our time together, I will attune myself to your needs, respecting your intuition and adapting my approach as required. We will build a safe, trusting relationship, allowing you to feel comfortable opening up and being vulnerable during the intimate process of bringing your precious baby earthside.

My aim is to walk alongside you in your power, so you have the most positive, autonomous, and sacred pregnancy and birth experience possible – one overflowing with joy, gratitude, and a profound sense of personal accomplishment.
